Today the new album by Algiers, The Underside of Power, is released via Matador Records. It’s also our Album of the Week, a masterful blend of post-punk darkness with powerful soul vocals and politically-charged lyrics. It’s the kind of album that feels like the perfect soundtrack to the chaotic moment we’re living in.
