Lucrecia Dalt releases new version of “caes,” titled “caes (u suerte)”

Before the year comes to a close, Lucrecia Dalt has one more song for us to hear. Today, she’s released a new version of “caes,” originally featured on her latest album A Danger to Ourselves, which features Luz Elena Mendoza of Y La Bamba, Niño de Elche, and Victor Herrero. Hear it below.

“When it comes to revisiting and reinterpreting a song—whether through versions or remixes—I find myself drawn to transformation to hear something different—something that shatters the original,” Dalt said in a statement. “For this version, no second thought—Victor Herrero and Niño de Elche. An odd, but aligned pair. From there, Luz of Y La Bamba—their harmonies.”
