Denzel Curry announces new group The Scythe, debut album Strictly 4 the Scythe

Denzel Curry has announced a new collective, The Scythe, featuring Ferg, Bktherula, TiaCorine, and Key Nyata. And on March 6, they’ll release their first full-length album, Strictly 4 the Scythe, via Loma Vista. They’ve shared the first new track from the album, “Lit Effect,” feat. Bktherula and Lazer Dim 700, which you can hear below.
Curry said in a statement about the new project, “The Scythe is a family and a group. We still have our respective solo careers, but when we come together, it’s The Scythe.”
Denzel Curry’s last album was 2024’s King of the Mischievous South Vol. 2. It’s featured on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2024.
