Boris announce new album Noise
Shape-shifting Tokyo metal trio Boris return a couple years after their shoegaze-stoner-J-pop triptych of Attention Please, Heavy Rocks and New Album with a brand new full-length, titled Noise. This new Boris full-length arrives June 17 via Sargent House, and marks yet another new direction for the ever-evolving band. A press release dubs it the darkest Boris album in terms of its lyrical content. And style-wise, the album reportedly blends “sludge-rock, blistering crust punk, shimmering shoegaze, epic thunderous doom, psychedelic melodies and just about everything else they’ve ever done.” Not that we’re saying this is going to be Pink Part 2, but it does sound like it’s going to be amazing. Check out the album cover, tracklist, a stream of intense new track “Quicksilver” and (deep breath) tour dates below!
