Crime and the City Solution announce first new album in a decade, The Killer

Crime and the City Solution have announced their first album in over a decade. Following 2013’s American Twilight, the Australian punk-blues legends return with The Killer, out October 20 via Mute. The first song they’ve shared is “Peace in My Time.” Hear it below and check out the group’s upcoming tour dates.

Frontman and songwriter Simon Bonney said in a statement, “I don’t think there’ll ever be ‘peace’ – nothing surprises me any more about what people do to each other. But the song is about the acceptance of uncertainty and also an acceptance of who you are.”

Crime and the City Solution’s “Six Bells Chime” is featured on our list of 40 Essential Mute Records Tracks.
