DatPiff uploading library of hip-hop mixtapes to Archive.org

DatPiff has begun uploading its library of mixtapes to Archive.org as part of a new partnership. The site had long been an extensive outpost for hip-hop mixtapes, and one of the most influential and important archives of hip-hop music. It debunked rumors of being gone for good back in March, while in a state of transition following an extensive legacy as being a deep resource for underground rap, but the music will continue to be available thanks to this archiving project.

DatPiffArchives has been set up on Archive.org, and as of right now includes over 60,000 uploads, with even more to be added to the growing backlog. If you start listening now, you’ll probably never finish—and yet there’s still more to be added!
