Depeche Mode announce new film, Depeche Mode: M

Depeche Mode have announced a new film, Depeche Mode: M, which features live footage captured during their Memento Mori tour. The film explores Mexican culture’s relationship with death, which they explored on their Memento Mori album, and includes live footage from their performances in Mexico City.
“At its core, our new film ‘M’ is about the deep connection between music, culture, and people—and Fernando Frías, who directed and conceived the film, did a beautiful job telling that story that through the lens of Mexican culture and our shows in Mexico City,” Depeche Mode’s Dave Gahan said in a statement.
The film premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival this year and opens for theatrical release on Oct. 28, including IMAX screenings.
