Dogleg has announced a live performance for the first anniversary of their album Melee. On Saturday, March 13, the Michigan emo-punk band will perform a live set via Bandcamp at 7 p.m. Eastern. They’re calling it “The Lost Melee Set,” and the performance, recorded on March 1, will find the group playing the album they weren’t able to take on tour after it was released, as planned.

The band says in a statement, “On March 6th, 2020, South By Southwest festival was cancelled. It was the first domino to fall in a scheduled year of touring behind our debut album ‘Melee.’ A week later, the album was released. It’s now been a year without shows. This set was recorded at Eureka Studios in Wyandotte, Michigan, on March 1st, 2021.”

Dogleg’s “Kawasaki Backflip” is on our list of the Top 100 Songs of 2020.
