Duster surprise release new album, Together
San Jose slowcore/space rock group Duster have released a surprise new album. It’s Bandcamp Friday, which means there’s a lot of new music that’ll be available for the first time today (and in some cases, the last time?), but Duster have used the opportunity to release their new full-length, Together, via Numero Group. The album features 13 new songs and is digitally out now, though a vinyl version of the album is expected to ship in August. Find out more here. And hear the full album below or via your preferred digital platform.
“I know people say, ‘Oh Duster music so sad,’ we’ve even said it ourselves before,” Clay Parton says in a statement issued with the album’s release. “But it’s a lot more like absurdism than nihilism.”
Together follows the group’s 2019 self-titled album.
