Fucked Up announce new album, Another Day

Fucked Up have announced another new album. On August 9, the group will release Another Day, via their own Fucked Up Records imprint. It follows the release of last year’s One Day, and was recorded shortly after the release of that album. Per a press release, “they’re not the same, but they’re not completely different.” Today they’ve released a video for the first single, “Stimming.” Watch it on YouTube.

“In making the video for stimming we tried to depict the transcendence of music from within our bodies outward to physical action” the band said in a statement. “Stimming is self-soothing behaviour through repetition, and in the context of music and our band, we overcome, calm, and manifest the best of ourselves through these specific, finely tuned physical movements which create a freeing joyous place from which to bring new ideas into the world.”

One Day is on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2023.
