Ty Segall announces new album Chrome

Ty Segall has announced a new album and a new EP. On August 28, he’ll release Chrome via Drag City, which is billed as a return to the roaring heavy psych sound of 2012’s Slaughterhouse. New single “Black Paint” confirms this, and you can hear it below.
The release of Chrome will also be accompanied by the “Love Fuzz” EP, featuring two non album tracks: “Love Fuzz” and “My Pet Guru.”
Ty Segall’s last album was 2025’s Possession. His 2014 album Manipulator is on our list of our 150 favorite indie rock albums of the 21st century.
