Hear a new song from Jlin, “Paradigm”
On September 29, Jlin will release a new mini-album, Perspective, via Hyperdub. After sharing the first single, “Fourth Perspective,” last month, today she’s released another new track, “Paradigm,” which is a rhythmically complex set of beats and atmospheric synth patterns, defined as much by the space within it as the heavily rhythmic sensibility that’s been a signature in much of her past work. “My journey is not defined in ‘distinct paths,’ this just happens to be where I am in my journey at the moment,” Jerrilynn Patton said in a statement.
