Positioner, the new project of Weatherbox guitarist George Pritzker and drummer Griffin Kisner, release their new EP Unsteady Hands via Thrill Me Records on November 13. And today, they’ve shared a new track from the upcoming release, titled “Rattle In.” It’s a hypnotic bit of guitar-driven indie rock, with intricate melodies reminiscent of moments on albums by Slint and American Football. It’s perfect music for fall, as the heat finally begins to break and the outside atmosphere at last begins to match the insular mood of 2020.

The band says about the new track in a statement, “‘Rattle In’ comes from a slightly darker place than the other songs on our EP. It’s about paranoia and the strange pleasure such a state can induce — like a racing heartbeat that can’t decide if it’s afraid or exhilarated.
