A new box set compiling the works of Chicago indie/post-rock group Joan of Arc is on the way. On July 12, Joyful Noise will release A Window & A Mirror, which features the first five Joan of Arc albums: 1997’s A Portable Model Of, 1998’s How Memory Works, 1999’s Live in Chicago, 1999, 2000’s The Gap, and 2003’s So Much Staying Alive and Lovelessness. The box set also contains a hardcover book, a bonus 7-inch, Red Blue Yellow, and access to the “Joan of Archive” digital collection, which includes more than 200 demos, live recordings, practice tapes, and alternate mixes. Take a look at the vinyl box below.

Joan of Arc was formed in 1995 by Tim Kinsella after the breakup of Cap’n Jazz. Kinsella was the only constant member of the group throughout its duration, but other members throughout the years included his brother Mike and cousin Nate, also of American Football, as well as longtime members Jeremy Boyle, Theo Katsaounis, Matthew Hale and Melina Ausikatis.
