Carly Rae Jepsen announces new double album, Day and Night

Carly Rae Jepsen has announced a new album. And in the tradition of her last few albums being released in twos, it’s a double album, Day and Night, only it’ll be released all at once, on September 18. The first single she’s releasing is “On Wires,” which will be out on Friday, June 26.
Each half of the album will feature 12 songs, and the two complementary halves, according to a press release, will be based around a distinctive sound. The Day half is inspired by ’70s psychedelic pop, while the Night half is based around the dancefloor. Check out the artwork above.
On September 27, Jepsen will perform a headlining set at the All Things Go festival in New York, which will be her first live performance of 2026.
