LISTEN: Stream Faith No More’s Sol Invictus

San Francisco’s most (in)famous alt-metal act, Faith No More, have been busy as of late.  After a short hiatus following the band’s initial reunion in 2009, the quintet have been touring like crazy and have announced both impending re-releases and a brand new album, their first since 1997’s Album of the Year. The new record is titled Sol Invictus, and it’s slated for a May 19th release via Reclamation Records. But have no fear, NPR Music wouldn’t expect you to wait a full week from now to hear this gem; they’re streaming the whole thing a full week before its official release.

Faith No More’s reunion and new material were featured as the main story from the latest edition of Shadow of the Horns, Treble’s monthly metal column.
