Watch Low’s new video for noise-heavy new single “More”
Low have shared another new clip from their upcoming album HEY WHAT, which is out September 10 via Sub Pop. “More” follows the previous singles “Days Like These” and “Disappearing,” which we named an Essential Track, and it’s a noise-caked rock song that find Low embracing a more direct kind of intensity, one that’s historically only occasionally bubbled to the surface, but featuring the serene foil of Mimi Parker’s graceful vocals.
The new video for the track is directed by Julie Casper Roth, and features stop-motion clips of sponges being sliced up and wires being pulled out of machines. According to a press release, the video “metaphorically explores the Sisyphean task of dismantling structural oppression, through gender biases.” Watch the new clip below.
HEY WHAT follows 2018’s Double Negative.
