Lush reissues

The catalog of legendary shoegazers Lush is being reissued. On August 11, the UK group’s three studio albums—1992’s Spooky, 1994’s Split and 1996’s Lovelife—will be back in print on vinyl for the first time since their initial releases, via 4AD. The band worked with engineer/producer Kevin Vanbergen to remaster their catalog, beginning with their three studio albums. The new releases feature 24-bit masters sourced from the original 1/2-inch tape. All four albums will be released on classic black and ultra clear vinyl. Bandbox will also be carrying a limited bundle of all three albums in exclusive colors (Spooky on orange vinyl, Split on yellow and Lovelife on violet), as well as a fanzine dedicated to the band.

Lush are featured on our list, A History of Shoegaze in 45 Essential Songs. The band reunited in 2015 and released an EP, Blind Spot, before disbanding again.
