Annie Clark announces new St. Vincent self-titled album
After a handful of teases and social media clues (silver and purple hair!), Annie Clark has now announced a new St. Vincent self-titled album, her fourth and follow-up to 2011’s Strange Mercy and last year’s collaboration with David Byrne, Love This Giant. The album is due Feb. 25 via her new label Loma Vista, and she has just released a new track from the album, titled “Birth In Reverse.” It’s a characteristically noisy, catchy and somewhat chaotic tune, and for that matter, pretty fun. We have a good feeling about this one. Listen to it below (stream or, on her website, submit your email address to for a free download), and check out the tracklist.
Just to jog your memory, Strange Mercy was our No. 1 Album of 2011.
