P.E. announce new mixtape, single “Branding Crisis”
P.E. have announced a new mixtape. The New York band, which began as a collaboration between members of Pill and Eaters, have just revealed NOPE Tapes Vol. 1, via Wharf Cat, which is a new set of songs that’s “totally improvised,” according to a press release. It’s out February 3. They’ve also shared a new video for the first track, the abstract electronic piece “Branding Crisis,” which you can check out below. They also have a couple of live dates lined up in February and March. Check those out below as well.
NOPE Tapes Vol. 1 follows last year’s The Leather Lemon. Their song “Tears in the Rain,” featuring Parquet Courts’ A. Savage, was featured on our list of the 100 Best Songs of 2022.
