Prince working on new album, reveals new song “FIXURLIFEUP”
Prince is, once again, getting back into full-time performer mode, having recently announced a West Coast club tour (with ticket prices as high as $250 a pop!). And the performer is reportedly working on a brand new album, tentatively titled Plectrum Electrum (also the name of a short film released from the Prince camp recently).
Dr. Funkenberry reports that Prince will allow the public to hear these new songs at a Launch Party in Vancouver, for $25, at the Portside Pub. One of those new songs, “FIXURLIFEUP,” debuted today on CBC Radio, and you can listen to a radio rip of the tune over at Ernest Radio Network.
Plectrum Electrum will be Prince’s first new album since the dual release of LotusFlow3r and MPLSound from 2009.
