Stream the new Quicksand album, Distant Populations
Quicksand have just released their fourth album, Distant Populations via Epitaph. Following the band’s 2017 album Interiors, Distant Populations is a more direct, punchy application of post-hardcore in the vein of their debut album Slip and Walter Schreifels’ early 2000s project, Rival Schools. The riffs are big, the rhythms are heavier and it sounds like the band is ready to bulldoze through a brick wall. Friends? Quicksand is back, and it’s a glorious thing.
The album is out now, and it’s available to hear via streaming services. Spend a half-hour with the new record this morning, and stream it below and check out their upcoming tour dates.
