Rilo Kiley announce first tour in 17 years

Rilo Kiley recently announced a handful of reunion tour dates at festivals in the U.S., including Just Like Heaven in Los Angeles and Kilby Block Party in Salt Lake City. Today, the group have announced their first tour since 2008, with a series of dates in the western U.S.
“It’s going to be wonderful for us, like going back to the purest version of yourself, that early 20s place where everything is possible,” said Jenny Lewis in a statement. “You’re in a van and Jason’s got the map, Pierre is behind the wheel, and I’m on the shitty acoustic guitar on the bench seat working out a new song with Blake. I don’t think it’s ever been as good as that, when it was just us against the world.”
The group are also planning a deluxe reissue of their 2002 album The Execution of All Things, which will be released on April 25 via Saddle Creek, on CD, vinyl and expanded vinyl with a bonus 7-inch. Check out the vinyl edition below.
Rilo Kiley’s last album was 2007’s Under the Blacklight.
