Rock Docs Podcast: Becoming Led Zeppelin

The Rock Docs Podcast is back after its periodic check-in with Nick McCann on Taylor Swift, burritos and more to survey a film on one of the all-time greats: Led Zeppelin.
This week, your trusted Rock Docs hosts, Andy Keatts and David Lizerbram, dive into this year’s Led Zep documentary, Becoming Led Zeppelin, directed by Bernard MacMahon. The film screened in IMAX earlier this year and is now available to stream via Netflix.
The movie covers the members’ early lives and the formation of the band through the album Led Zeppelin II. It features a rare lost interview with John Bonham, new interviews with the surviving band members, and some restored footage. But does all of that add up to a good movie? Hear the conversation and find out more!
And while you’re at it, read our list of the 150 Best Albums of the 1960s, which just so happens to include Led Zeppelin II. Oh, and listen to the previous Rock Docs episode on The Song Remains The Same.
