Unwound announce reunion tour
Unwound have announced a reunion tour. After a teaser video surfaced on social media on Monday, the group officially announced their first new shows together in over two decades. Justin Trosper and Sara Lund have already been playing together in Nocturnal Habits, and the new lineup will also feature Jared Warren, one-time protege of the band’s late bassist Vern Rumsey, as well as Nocturnal Habits’ Scott Seckington on second guitar and keyboards.
“When we put Unwound on the shelf in 2002, we never thought we’d return to the project,” drummer Sara Lund says in a press release. Trosper adds, “Starting over again is a rebellious act against our failure.”
Check out the dates here, and find presales here on Friday.
