David Bowie has already been the subject of more than a few best-of compilations, dating all the way back to the excellent Changes. But he’s got another, more exhaustive triple-disc compilation due out Nov. 17. It’s a career-spanning retrospective that begins with a new song, “Sue (Or In a Season of Crime)” and highlights from last year’s The Next Day, and then goes in backward chronological order through Bowie’s discography, with highlights from all his albums and non-album singles, all the way back through Hunky Dory, Space Oddity and even his early mod days. “The Laughing Gnome” is not included on the compilation.

This weekend, BBC Radio 6 premiered the new song, “Sue (Or In a Season of Crime)”, which is a collaboration with Tony Visconti and the Maria Schneider Orchestra. You can listen to it below, via a radio rip titled “Jaffa Cakes.” Cheeky.
