Stream the new Jessie Ware album, Tough Love
Next week, Jessie Ware will release Tough Love, the follow up to her gorgeous 2012 debut, Devotion, via PMR Records. It was released on Tuesday in the UK, and you might have noticed that it’s also our Album of the Week. So, that should give you some indication about Treble’s opinion on the album, namely that we’re pretty much in love with it at the moment. Not that it’s that much of a surprise — given how good her debut was, as well as a steady stream of new tracks like “Tough Love” and “Pieces,” Ware was more or less preparing us for becoming obsessed with her R&B-inflected electronic pop all over again.
And this morning, you can hear the whole thing and see what all of the smooth fuss is about. NPR First Listen is streaming Tough Love in full, and we can think of no better way for you to begin your morning than to queue it up right now.
