Bonnaroo announced its 2015 lineup today via a sort of silly and quaintly outdated method: A phone line. Throughout the day, fans were able to call the number 1-800-ROO-2015 and hear the name of an artist, and then be encouraged to share the name of that band or performer on Twitter with the hashtag #bonnaroo. The full lineup was then posted on the Bonnaroo website.
This year’s Bonnaroo 2015 lineup includes Kendrick Lamar, Slayer, Billy Joel, Spoon, Flying Lotus, Run the Jewels, Belle and Sebastian, the War on Drugs, Caribou, My Morning Jacket, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Courtney Barnett, Tears for Fears, Jamie xx, Against Me!, Iceage, Pallbearer, Mac DeMarco, Shabazz Palaces, Unknown Mortal Orchestra, Bleachers, Robert Plant, Florence and the Machine, Sturgill Simpson, Tycho, Earth Wind and Fire, Flume, Ben Folds, Atmosphere, The Very Best and Childish Gamino. There will also be the annual SuperJam, as well as a performance of William Onyeabor songs by the Atomic Bomb! band.
