Ryan Adams, Sharon Van Etten to perform at Neil Fest
The inaugural Neil Fest is being held in New York City on September 13 and 14, at the Bowery Ballroom. The two-day festival is a benefit for the Jameson Neighborhood Fund, which “raises money for local charities that provide education and resources to the local bartender, musicians and craft communities.”
Like Dylan Fest, Stones Fest, Petty Fest and other like-minded festivals organized by the same people, Neil Fest will bring together a list of high-profile artists to jam their way through the Neil Young catalog. Performers at the festival include Ryan Adams, Kim Gordon’s Body/Head, Sharon Van Etten, Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, Charles Bradley, Norah Jones, Elvis Perkins, The Gaslight Anthem’s Brian Fallon, and a long list of other musicians.
Tickets to Neil Fest are available at the festival website.
