Oneohtrix Point Never releases Garden of Delete MIDI files, announces tour
On November 13, Daniel Lopatin, aka Oneohtrix Point Never, will release his new album Garden of Delete, via Warp Records. Ahead of the album’s release, Lopatin has shared a handful of teaser videos, as well as the track “I Bite Through It.” Today, however, Lopatin offers up something a little different: MIDI files.
The MIDI files appear on a website for the band Kaoss Edge, a fictional creation that supposedly inspired Garden of Delete. The files are available for fans to rework into new songs, and Lopatin has asked that they share their creations with him, so that it can all be put into an archive.
Lopatin has also announced some fall tour dates, which you can check out below.
Garden of Delete follows 2013’s R Plus Seven.
