Black Mountain share new “Mothers of the Sun” video, tour dates
On April 1, Black Mountain release their new album IV, via Jagjaguwar. Today, the band has released the first single and video from the album, “Mothers of the Sun.” The eight-minute clip depicts a psychedelic, occult scene in a cave, with Stephen McBean in a Sunn O)))-style robe, caressing a blade. It gets more surreal and disorienting from there, but the song is just as epic as the video, so it’s best to just enjoy the ride. The band also announced European and North American tour dates. Check those out below, along with the new video.
IV follows 2012’s Wilderness Heart.
