Listen to new Flying Lotus track, “Never Catch Me,” featuring Kendrick Lamar
On Oct. 7, Flying Lotus will release his new album You’re Dead!, via Warp. The new album follows 2012’s fusion-inspired funk odyssey, Until the Quiet Comes. And so far, the information has been coming at a tempered pace, including the tracklist, which arrived via gradual flips of tarot card designs on FlyLo’s Tumblr. But tonight, Los Angeles hip-hop station Power 106 debuted the first track from the album, Kendrick Lamar collaboration “Never Catch Me.” Check it out below.
You’re Dead! also features contributions from Herbie Hancock, Thundercat, Snoop Dogg, Angel Deradoorian, Captain Murphy (which is actually Lotus himself) and past collaborator Niki Randa.
