Stream the new Mogwai album, Every Country’s Sun
The rush of fall’s new releases has begun, and today marks the beginning of what’s going to be a busy season of music. One of the notable releases out today is Mogwai‘s new album Every Country’s Sun. In our review of the album from earlier this week, Langdon Hickman said, “There are songs here, proper and regularized song-structures. Hell, there’s even a pop song!” And based on the early singles, “Coolverine” and “Party In the Dark,” the band showcased a penchant for pop material that hadn’t been as prominent on past releases, particularly their ’90s post-rock material. Now that the album’s out, you can hear it in full. Listen to the Mogwai Every Country’s Sun stream below.
Every Country’s Sun follows Mogwai’s 2014 album Rave Tapes.
Mogwai’s “Quiet Stereo Dee” is featured on our list of 20 Essential Temporary Residence Tracks.
