Slowdive share new video for “Don’t Know Why,” add tour dates
Slowdive have just shared another new video from their recently released self-titled album. Today they’ve released the video for “Don’t Know Why,” directed by Grant Singer (The Weeknd, Lorde). It’s a gorgeous video (of course), and Singer shared a statement about the album: “This video is less about logic and more about a feeling. It’s a triptych about memory, about being lost and abandoned. Slowdive has been my favorite band since I was a kid. To say that making this video was surreal would be an understatement. Their music has been this gift—this friend that stays with me always and gets better over time. Hearing their new album left me speechless. So having the opportunity to make something for them is an honor that I don’t take for granted.”
It’s unfortunately only available as an Apple Music exclusive, but you can watch it here.
The band has also announced a handful of dates they’ve added to their tour. Check those out below.
