Dummy announces reissue of first two EPs, Dumb EPs

L.A. psych-pop group Dummy are reissuing their first two EPs. On August 15, they’ll release Dumb EPs via Perennial/K, featuring three bonus tracks from the EP2 sessions. Today they’ve shared “Ethereal Security Guard.” Hear it below. The band is also on tour this fall, including dates with Soccer Mommy. Check out their upcoming tour dates on the flyer below.

Dummy’s Joe Trainor said in a statement, “E.S.G. is a song about simple gestures calming extreme anxiety, which Alex did that often for me during the pandemic when these 3 songs were recorded.”

Dummy’s last album was 2024’s Free Energy.
