Agriculture announce new EP, Living Is Easy
Agriculture have announced Living is Easy, a new EP that’s being released as a 12-inch vinyl record along with their debut EP The Circle Chant on its flipside. The new double EP will drop on May 3 via Flenser. Today they’ve shared the title track, with a video featuring their tour- and labelmates Chat Pile doing battle with them.
The song is “centered around a story from one of the Buddha’s past lives: on a walk in a forest, the Buddha came upon a hungry family of tigers. He realized that they would die if they didn’t eat, so he lay down and let them eat his body. He was devoured with a smile on his face,” according to a statement from Agriculture.
Living Is Easy/The Circle Chant follows Agriculture’s self-titled debut album from last year. It’s on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2023.
