Alvvays announce new album, Blue Rev

Alvvays have announced a new album. On October 7, the Canadian indie pop group will release Blue Rev via Polyvinyl. The first single is “Pharmacist.” Check it out below.

Blue Rev is the band’s first album with the new rhythm section of drummer Sheridan Riley and bassist Abbey Blackwell, and follows a period of setbacks for the group, including a set of demos that were stolen from Molly Rankin’s apartment and a flood that almost ruined all the band’s gear. Blue Rev follows Alvvays’ 2017 album, Antisocialites.
