Animal Collective have shared a new track from their upcoming album Time Skiffs, due out February 4 via Domino. The new single is called “Walker,” and its title is a reference to a legendary artist that the band collectively admire. Check out the video below, directed by Abby and Dave Portner, and take a look at their upcoming tour dates below.

“Mostly ‘Walker’ is a tribute to Scott Walker who passed away around the time I began writing the song,” Noah Lennox told Zane Lowe in an interview. “Scott’s music has meant a lot to me and he’ll always be a big inspiration. But there’s also a kind of exhaustion and resignation to the singer of ‘Walker’ that belies a darker layer.”
