The Cue Sheet Podcast is back on the air to talk about the soundtrack of the Chosen One, who alone will stand against the vampires the demons and the forces of darkness. That’s right—we’re talking about the best musical moments of Buffy the Vampire Slayer! Back in the early days of Treble’s history, we ran a list of essential needle drops from Buffy, and now we’re revisiting those songs—and more! (including some that we didn’t love)—and we’ve brought some good company along to join us.

This month, Jenny Owen Youngs—singer/songwriter and co-host of the podcast Buffering the Vampire Slayer—to chat with us about her favorite musical moments on the show, her multi-year saga in chronicling every episode of the show, and the subtly or not-so-subtly heartbreaking moments in a young slayer’s life. Plus we dive into some of the things you maybe didn’t know about the show and its songs, though be warned that discussion of the musical episode Once More With Feeling is pretty minimal. (No disrespect, we just had a lot to say about all the other songs!)
