CHAI announce new self-titled album

CHAI have announced a new album. On September 22, they’ll release their new self-titled LP via Sub Pop. Today they’ve shared a new song, “Para Para.” Hear it below, and tonight at 9 p.m. eastern, they’ll premiere its video. They’re also touring the U.S. this fall—check out those dates below as well.

“Everything reflected in the lyrics expresses our experience as Japanese women,” said vocalist/keyboardist MANA in a statement, explaining why their latest record is self-titled.

CHAI’s last album was 2021’s WINK.
