Hear a new song from Chat Pile, “Masc”
Chat Pile have released another song from their upcoming album Cool World, out October 11 via Flenser. After releasing the bruising “I Am Dog Now,” which was a recent Essential Track, they’ve shared “Masc,” which you can check out via its new Stephen Mondics-directed video below.
Vocalist Raygun Busch in a statement about the song, “‘Masc’ is the saddest Chat Pile song since ‘Tenkiller.’ Unlike the rest of the album, this song deals with horrors of interpersonal intimacy, yet it is connected with the rest of the record through the overarching theme of oppression, despair and malaise.”
Cool World follows 2022’s God’s Country.
