Colin Meloy to release Kinks covers EP

Colin Meloy, frontman of Portland’s The Decemberists, has released a few EPs worth of covers in the past, first with a set of Morrissey songs, then Shirley Collins and Sam Cooke. Now, Meloy is releasing a tour-only EP of Kinks covers. And you can hear his take on The Village Green Preservation Society highlight “Do You Remember Walter?” over at NPR.
