Daft Punk win Album of the Year Grammy
For those who might have missed the 56th Annual Grammy Awards last night, it was a big night for Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, who won a bunch of things that Kendrick Lamar didn’t. But there were plenty of other notable wins throughout the evening, including Daft Punk, who won Album of the Year for Random Access Memories and Record of the Year for “Get Lucky,” with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams. Daft Punk also took home the Grammys for Best Electronic Album and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
Lorde won the Grammys for Song of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for “Royals”; Paul McCartney won the Grammy for Best Rock Song for “Cut Me Some Slack”; Vampire Weekend won the Grammy for Best Alternative Album for Modern Vampires of the City; and Jay Z and Justin Timberlake won the Best Rap/Sung Collaboration Grammy for “Holy Grail.”
