David Berman of Silver Jews announces new music as Purple Mountains
David Berman of Silver Jews has announced first new music in over a decade. Back in 2009, Berman announced his retirement from music after the last Silver Jews album, Lookout Mountain Lookout Sea. But on July 12 he’ll release his self-titled first album as Purple Mountains via Drag City. The first song he’s released from the album is called “All My Happiness Is Gone,” which you can hear below. Berman is also touring behind the album this summer and fall. Take a look at those tour dates below.
