Hear the new Fleet Foxes album, Shore
Fleet Foxes announced that they’d be releasing a new album this week, and now it’s here. Shore arrives via Anti- and is available on streaming services now as well as in the form of visuals directed by Kersti Jan Werdal. The album arrives on the autumnal equinox, though physical editions of the album will be released on February 5, 2021.
“I see “shore” as a place of safety on the edge of something uncertain, staring at Whitman’s waves reciting ‘death,’” says the group’s leader Robin Pecknold in a press release. “Tempted by the adventure of the unknown at the same time you are relishing the comfort of the stable ground beneath you. This was the mindset I found, the fuel I found, for making this album.” Check out the Shore stream below.
