Hear a new song from King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, “Le Risque”

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard recently announced the details of their new album FLIGHT b741 via social media. It’s out August 9 via (P)Doom Records, and today they’ve released the first single from the album, “Le Risque,” which you can check out below.

The band said that the concept behind the album is that is has no concept. “We wanted to make something that was primal, instinctual, more ‘from the gut’,” said Gizzard king Stu Mackenzie, “just people in a room, doing what feels right. We wanted to make something fun.”

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s last album was 2023’s The Silver Cord.
