Julia Holter returns with new single, “Sun Girl”

Julia Holter has shared a new single. Since the release of 2018’s Aviary, she’s released an album of modern classical music with Spektral Quartet and Alex Temple, collaborated with Call Super and released a drone single for Earth Day. Her latest, “Sun Girl”—out today via Domino Records—is a return to her uniquely mesmerizing art pop, featuring a very cool video animated by Tammy Nguyễn. It’s a wonderful new song, and it’s great to hear Julia Holter back to creating such dreamily immersive pop music. Hear it below.
