Posthumous Lee “Scratch” Perry box set, King Scratch, out in September
A posthumous Lee “Scratch” Perry box set featuring material that spans his entire career is on the way. On September 2, Trojan Records will release King Scratch (Musical Masterpieces from the Upsetter Ark-ive), which will be available in 2xLP and 2xCD as well as a deluxe 4xLP and 4xCD version. Trojan has shared the 7-inch mix of “Jungle Lion,” which you can hear below.
The box set contains some rare and unreleased DJ mixes, including a rare mix of Junior Murvin’s “Police and Thieves.” Check out the complete tracklist of the deluxe box set below.
