Hear the new Weyes Blood album, And In the Darkness, Hearts Aglow

Today is one of the last big new release Fridays of 2022, not counting next week’s Record Store Day Black Friday event. But one of the biggest releases hitting shelves and digital providers today is the highly anticipated new album from Weyes Blood, And In the Darkness, Hearts Aglow, released via Sub Pop. The album pairs apocalyptic, climate change and pandemic narratives with Natalie Mering’s lushly arranged pop songwriting, and she’s already released a few singles, including “It’s Not Just You It’s Everybody” (which we named an Essential Track) and “Grapevine.” Now the album is out and available to stream or download (or pick up on vinyl!) in its entirety. And In the Darkness, Hearts Aglow follows Weyes Blood’s 2019 album, Titanic Rising. It was on our list of the 50 Best Albums of 2019.
