Macula Dog announce new album, Orange 2

Oddball New York electronic duo Macula Dog have announced a new album. On October 7, the group will release Orange 2 via Wharf Cat. Today they’ve shared a new song, “Neosporin.” Hear it below.

“As we were working on this one it began to sound more and more like a ‘single,’” they said in a press release, “So we really had to do something about that…Like a lot of other tracks on the record, this one became the first exercise in forced mondegreen.”

They add, about the video: “We’re the originators of wall-to-wall aerial action, and we never stand still. We’re always working to invent epic new ways to play, gather, and compete. The only way to understand it is to come experience it. So rally your crew and let’s go!”

Orange 2 follows 2020’s Breezy EP.
